7 members strong and a squad of sound, Flight Brigade are no strangers to the festival scene and have a dedicated fan base, and it’s not hard to see why.

With grand orchestral sweeps, crunching guitars and both male and female vocals set amongst symphonies and synths, you might think you were watching a face off between Arcade Fire and Fleetwood Mac.

We know they’re gonna get you jumping up and down and collect a few Brigaders along the way. Welcome to Calling!

Kiddo

Music Act

Having grown up listening to the likes of Eric Clapton, Queen and Rory Gallagher, Kiddo decided he’d grab the guitar himself and start to pen songs. Drawing influence from pop, rock and disco, Kiddo has worked with various producers learning to hone his craft. Relentlessly gigging across the globe, we can’t wait to see what 2018 brings him. 

Conrad

A singer songwriter originally from macclesfield, Conrad’s soulful pop vocals have attracted some of the best upcoming and established producers. Having supported Camper Calling veterans The Hoosiers on tour, we know Conrad is going to fit right in our field.

Lewis Watson

Freshly Squeezed Stage, Music Act

London-based singer/songwriter Lewis Watson started his music career quietly uploading cover versions of his favourite songs to a sleepy Youtube in 2010. Fast forward eight years and he’s just released his soulful, insightful and lyrically beautiful, second album ‘Midnight’. We’re thrilled to announce he’ll be headlining the Freshly Squeezed Stage.

Into The Ark

The Voice UK sensations and runner ups on the show, Into The Ark will be headlining the Freshly Squeezed Stage at this year’s Camper Calling. Hot from supporting the legendary Tom Jones on tour, they’ll be heading to Ragley Hall to wow us with their incredible vocals, catchy tunes and irresistible indie vibes. Sounds like summer to us!

Ralph Taylor

Musician and vocalist Ralph Taylor was born and raised in Suffolk, where he first fused his blend of alternative pop with a loop pedal. Ralph now plays with his talented 4-piece-band, adding yet more edge to this already dynamic performer. Attracted to every genre, he’s blended his sound into a distinctive layered style. One for the summer playlist, it’s perfect Camper Calling listening!

Martha Hill

Martha Hill is an alternative pop artist based in Newcastle upon Tyne. After growing up as one of six siblings on a remote Scottish peninsula, she left home at 17 and spent two years touring across Europe as a street musician. Honing her craft and sound, she relocated to north east England and hasn’t stopped touring since!

 

Lauran Hibberd

No stranger to the festival scene, Lauran Hibberd has graced the stage at Bestival, Blue Dot, Isle of Wight, supported the likes of Clean Cut Kid and has recently sold out her first headline show. Grungy with a sprinkling of indie and smart, razor sharp lyrics, Lauran’s sound is one to keep you wanting more.

 

Georgia and the Vintage Youth

Georgia grew up listening to soul, motown, reggae and jazz, and it’s certainly distinguishable in the band’s style and performance. Having previously supported Squeeze, Georgia and the Vintage Youth have quite the fan base, and have worked alongside Neville Staple, Mo Pleasure of Earth Wind and Fire and more. The perfect blend of big band and theatrical sounds, they are sure to have you dancing in no time!

GeeJay

Meet Gina Jane and Jacob Lobo, AKA GeeJay. A fantastic fuse of Soul and Jazz, the North London duo are set to usher in a fresh voice to the modern jazz era. Expect smooth saxophone skills from Jacob with incredible powerhouse vocals courtesy of Gina. One not to miss!

FullMarx

The genre-defying singer, songwriter and producer FullMarx is a modern viral sensation. After paying his dues in the pubs and clubs of the country, Fullmarx had major exposure with a viral hit and was personally invited by Lucy Spraggan to join her on tour.
Clever, cheeky lyrics are sure to spin in your head all weekend long.

Drawing inspiration from Queens of the Stone Age, Justin Timberlake and Jeff Buckley, their sound never sticks to a genre for too long whilst perfectly fusing together to create songs to make you tap your feet!
