Backbeat Soundsystem

Backbeat Soundsystem are a different beast. In a UK reggae scene that has long eschewed bands in favour of sound systems, Backbeat brings 8 musicians to the stage and hail from far west Cornwall. And, while many of their peers are slavish in their attempt to recreate an authentic Jamaican-leaning sound, Backbeat Soundsystem are not afraid to go in totally different directions, pulling in influences from all across the music spectrum, to create their vision of modern reggae.

The Elephant Trees

Music Act, Lakeside Stage

Stopping by the lakeside stage on Friday, an acoustic-led (but loud) alt-rock band from Leeds, The Elephant Trees! they blend a more acoustic singer-songwriter style with huge riffs and singalong choruses to create a unique and infectious sound, make sure you catch them, you’re going to love ‘em!

Afro Cluster

Afro Cluster fuse authentic rhythms with impassioned, politically conscious lyrics and rich harmonies, aural acrobatics that make it impossible not to get on your feet and dance like nobody's watching.

Caution Horses
