We will be a sea of SUNSHINE on Friday when we’re all in yellow!
Whether you’re dressed as a Simpson or you’re a soul full of radiant energy, there will be yellow, brightness and happiness wherever you go. Your finest yellow garments are required on Friday, and hopefully the sky will reflect the crowd! Sun, sun, sun, here it comes…
Saturday is competition day and the theme is Mardi Gras! We will create our very own Rio Carnival in the Carnival field where, in the Chaos Corner tent at 5pm, outfits will be judged and prizes will be given! Show us your best interpretation of the theme!
The main event, however, will be our Mardi Gras parade. After the competition, the BoomDang drummers will lead us through Carnival field and the festival grounds for all to see and join in! Beads and feathers galore, parrots and rhinestone masks, purple, yellow, green and glitter wherever you look. Saturday at Camper Calling will have never looked so fabulous!
TIGHT, BRIGHT NEON LIGHTS
Hello Friday night RAVERS! Your Friday theme is ‘Tight, Bright Neon Lights’. Think 90s rave with 80s fashion. The bigger, the bolder, the better. Night will fall, the DJs will take charge and your UV paint will illuminate the dance floor. Glow sticks at the ready, kiddos.
INTO THE JUNGLE
As the Ministry of Sound would say, Jungle. Is. Massive! Are you an explorer lost in the wilderness? Your favourite wild animal? Or a tropical palm looking absolutely fabulous in the sunshine? Fun for all the family. We can’t wait to see all you cool cats ‘n’ kittens in your Jungle attire!
SEA CREATURES AND MUSICAL FEATURES
It’s competition time and we want to see you get creative with this theme! From a Little Mermaid scene to the Spice Girls… a Saxophone-playing Octopus… an accordion-wearing Crab… the more inventive and crazily-interpreted, the better! At 12pm in the Chaos Corner tent, ringmaster Gacko will be ready to judge your fabulous attire! Prizes to be won!
Are we Nearly There Yet? is a new theatre production lovingly written by HandMade Theatre for children and families. Featuring the company’s signature mix of interactive songs, puppets and stories from around the world, you're invited to join our intrepid travellers on this interactive expedition of discovery!
Handmade Theatre have been with Camper Calling from the start and will be returning in 2023 with a new production!
Tell Me a Story: ‘Everyone has a story to tell and a memory to share. Unlock yours in this family adventure down memory lane, experience stories of the people, places and objects we hold dear.’
Having worked closely with care homes that support those living with Dementia over recent years, we have found that music, storytelling and objects have brought to life memories that have been stored away, held close. This project has allowed us to collect stories, from older and younger audiences to look at the journeys of our lives through creative exploration. What does childhood and growing up feel like to different people, at different times, in different places?
The show itself will see musicians, performers and storytellers come together with puppetry and song to tell these stories and unlock memories, suitable for all ages

Too Many Cooks is a sizzlingly sumptuous show jam packed with tasty tunes, popping puppets and a lot of silly sausages! No ordinary theatre show this culinary delight will get your taste buds going. Suitable for Children and their families, aged 0-100.
Their four therapists will be on hand over the weekend to offer a range of treatments from Sports Massage, Aromatherapy, Hot Stone, Reflexology and so much more to help ease those aching muscles and help you find your own festival chilling space.
